When I was like ten, there was this advert for a fabric softener that had a toucan or a parrot or something in it that kept saying “aloe vera” in a funny old voice.

As kids, we loved it, and probably annoyed all of the parents in the world by constantly quoting it. That was the last I heard of aloe vera until people started routinely burning one another on the internet.
