Angelina Jolie’s daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt has left fans shocked after they found out what she looks like now…
Zahara was adopted from an Ethiopian orphanage by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie when she was just 5 months old, which was a whopping seventeen years ago.
Over the years, she’s grown into a beautiful young woman, and people can’t believe what she looks like now!
As we’re all aware, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were a Hollywood dream team. They famously met while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and quickly hit it off, despite the fact that Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston.
Despite the backlash, the pair quickly became a power couple after continuing their relationship, and later decided to start a family together. They quickly amassed a huge brood of children, some through adoption and some through birth.
First, they adopted Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt from Cambodia in 2002 when he was just 7 months old. They then adopted Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt in 2005. Her mother had become sick from salmonella, and subsequently, left her.
Some suspect that the relationship between Jolie and Pitt may have been a little strained at the time, hence bringing children into their lives. But, this didn’t stop them from welcoming Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, their first biological child, into the world in 2006, which garnered a lot of press coverage when she was born.
And Jolie didn’t stop there when it came to growing her heard. In 2007, the couple adopted Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, from Vietnam, when he was just 3 years old. And then, to complete their family, Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, were welcomed into the world in 2008.
2 years after getting engaged in April 2012, the pair officially tied the knot on August 23, 2014, in a private ceremony in France. But not long after, it was evident that Jolie and Pitt’s relationship was strained, and on September 20, 2016. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt, much to the shock of fans worldwide.
As years passed, many questioned the reason why their marriage fell apart, with the majority blaming their split on the couple having so many children, but in 2021, Jolie finally spoke out about the separation, revealing something insidious happened.
Jolie spoke to The Guardian about why she decided to walk away, explaining: “I’m not the kind of person who makes decisions like the decisions I had to make lightly. It took a lot for me to be in a position where I felt I had to separate from the father of my children.”
And just a year later, in 2022, FBI documents were released detailing the incident that prompted Jolie to leave Pitt.
In the documents, Jolie accused him of frightening the couple’s 6 children during a plane journey. She later said that Pitt’s alleged behaviour “didn’t feel real” and left her feeling “scared” and “like a hostage.” Jolie then filed for divorce within days of the jet confrontation.
The divorce has clearly been incredibly difficult for everyone involved, but since things have calmed down between the couple, Jolie gave an interview revealing that she’s proud of how their children have turned out.
Jolie spoke out to People magazine, sharing that “they’re pretty great people, and because there’s so many of them, I think they’ve had a very significant effect on each other.”
She added: “It’s not like I’m the head of anything. I’m very honest with my kids. And I’m very human with my kids.”
“I have 6 very individual human beings in my home,” she said.
“I am so excited about all the different stages and feelings and curiosities that they go through. Why wouldn’t you be? We’re supposed to help them figure out who they are. And you can’t figure out who they are if you don’t enthusiastically develop with them.”
“I’m not a perfect parent by any means,” she added. “Every day I feel like I’m more aware of everything I don’t do right. And I’m pretty tough on myself, because I feel often, ‘Am I doing the right thing? Did I say the right thing?’”
But she’s clearly being way too hard on herself, her daughter Zahara proves this, as she has grown into a beautiful young woman.
She recently got accepted into Spelman College, which is a serious achievement, and we can’t believe how grown up she’s become!
It might seem impossible, but Zahara is now eighteen-years-old!
