Regé Jean-Page Is The Most Handsome Man In The World, According To Science

Cosmetic surgeon Julian De Silva has studied the faces of some of our favourite male celebrities…

And now, Silva has whittled them down to the most handsome according to the Ancient Greek theory of “divine proportion,” which uses maths to calculate how symmetrical a face is.

The Golden Ratio looks at the proportions of features and their placement on the face.

The cosmetic surgeon used this theory, which became prevalent in the Renaissance, to help him understand what is considered most attractive.

It is important to note that ‘beauty’ and ‘imperfection’ are abstract and mean something different to everybody, so this theory should be taken with a pinch of salt.

That being said, let’s take a look at who Silva deems to have the most handsome faces according to societal beauty standards…

In second place came Thor star Chris Hemsworth, with 93.53% symmetry, while Michael B. Jordan took third place with 93.46%.

But the first place had to go to Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page, with an impressive 93.65% facial symmetry, according to the golden ratio.

Dr De Silva took to Instagram to share his findings, in the caption of his post, which featured a zoomed-in picture of the stars, he wrote: “Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page is the most handsome man in the world, according to science.

“The thirty-four-year-old British actor – Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings in the hit Netflix series – was found to be 93.65% accurate to the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi – which measures physical perfection.

Men In Black star Chris Hemsworth was second with 93.53%, Black Panther hunk Michael B Jordan was third with 93.46%.”

Fans of the star immediately poured into the comment section to share their thoughts, with one writing: “Absolutely agree … this is the most accurate post ever- thank you for sharing.”

While another commented: “He really is so perfect! Although tastes are debatable, he possesses a lot to like in the beauty question!”

The leading facial cosmetic surgeon from Harley Street created the list with the help of cutting-edge mapping technologies that he uses for his clients to help target areas that are supposedly out of place and to create a treatment plan for his clients.

He went on to explain the process of face mapping: “These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery.”

He then shared in detail why the actor was considered the “most handsome man in the world,” saying “Regé won because of his classically beautiful face and gorgeous brown eyes.

“He had easily the highest score for his eye spacing and the positioning of his eyes also scored highly.

“His perfectly shaped lips also scored highly and the only mark he got that was slightly lower was for his nose width and length.”

It’s no wonder he was considered a frontrunner to play the next 007. What do you make of the results?
