However, it looks like fans are in for some sad news as Netflix have announced the fifth season is set to be its last.
In an announcement on social media, they wrote: “Goodbye… YOU. Joe Goldberg will return for the fifth and final season of YOU.”
The news comes after the release of the fourth season’s second instalment earlier this month, which saw the show’s leading character up and move to the other side of the Atlantic.
It was met with rave reviews, with an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score of ninety-five percent. One Guardian reviewer even deemed it “utterly terrible … and yet it is perfect.”
Fans have responded to the news with heartbreak.
