Someone Made This South Park Deepfake Using AI And It’s Incredibly Unsettling

Someone has created a South Park deep fake using AI, and it’s pretty creepy…

Now, fans will be aware, It never comes as a shock when South Park says or does something completely offensive.

The adult cartoon is well known for its hilarious, controversial, and often offensive humor and this is what makes it so popular around the world.

Not everyone is a fan of Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s creation, and the show has made its fair share of enemies over the years.

South Park is one of America’s most famous adult cartoons. Created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone back in 1997, the show follows the misadventures of 4 potty-mouthed grade-schoolers in the dysfunctional town of South Park, Colorado.

Both Trey and Matt were in the same film class when attending the University of Colorado and both found the experience of standing on film sets extremely boring, so they would amuse one another by making silly voices.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Parker said: “We would always talk like these little kids and make each other laugh,” and that’s where it all began.

South Park is known for its DIY style…

Parker was inspired by his impressive cartoon debut at school about American history, in which he cut shapes out of paper and modeled them into characters that would eventually be recreated and produced into animation for South Park.

“The Spirit of Christmas” was one of the show’s first aired episodes, and it was with the help of Hollywood legend, George Clooney, that it rocketed. Clooney reportedly made hundreds of VHS copies of the episode to sell to his friends as he was that much of a fan.

The show debuted in 1997 with pretty much no marketing at all. Despite this, the premiere got 899,000 viewers when it was predicted that it would be lucky to get 200,000. This was a complete shock to Parker and Stone as they didn’t think that the show would last – but, now, South Park has released its twenty-third season.

They’ve won loads of awards, including 5 Primetime Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, and an MTV Music Award, and has had numerous inclusions in various publications’ lists of greatest TV shows.

There’s no doubt it’s still extremely popular, and now the show has hit headlines once again after someone reimagined the characters as real people using AI.

It’s very unsettling.

YouTuber demonflyingfox produced the video to demonstrate to his audience the potential of artificial intelligence.

An excerpt of the video was published on Reddit where one viewer wrote: “Someone used AI to create a South Park deepfake – I love it!”

However, a second Reddit user noted: “The blinking is very unsettling for some reason.”

While a third replied: “It’s because it’s not natural, you can definitely tell it’s not a real person.”

Another added: “At first I thought this was a mediocre attempt at a real-life south park intro with real actors, but then I realized this was made with AI. This is insane.”
