Megan Fox Reveals She Was ‘In Love’ With Shia LaBeouf And Opens Up About Their ‘Totally Romantic’ Relationship

Megan Fox has opened up about her ‘totally romantic’ relationship with Shia LaBeouf.

The pair both featured in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen together way back in 2009, and evidently their chemistry worked well both on and off the screen.

Fox made the revelations while in conversation with Andy Cohen in an episode of Watch What Happens Live.

“How would you characterise your relationship?” Cohen asked the Jennifer’s Body star, per UNILAD.

“I mean, I would confirm that it was romantic,” she responded.

She continued: “I love him, I have never been really quiet about that, I love him.”

Cohen followed up by asking Fox to clarify if the relationship was just an on-set romance, to which she responded: “Yeah.”

She went on to classify the relationship as a “showmance.”

LaBeouf himself has spoken about the relationship in the past.

In 2011 he told Details magazine: “Look, you’re on the set for 6 months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them.

“I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation.

“But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.”

Fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the pair.

One said: “I loved those two on Transformers and hoped they would be a couple! She’s gorgeous and he’s cute! Maybe they can find their way back together and do a movie together!!!”

While another wrote: “I always thought that Shia and Megan were meant for each other.”

A third commented: “I wouldn’t be shocked if they get together again one day. I mean it’s prob going to happen again.”

The news comes after a tumultuous time for Fox’s love life.

Back in February, Fox began by removing all images of herself and her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly from her social media account.

She then published a number of pictures, one of which showed her with an unknown guy in what seemed to be a restroom, while another picture showed a letter being burned. Along with the images, she captioned the post: “You can taste the dishonesty / it’s all over your breath.”

As fans will already be aware, Kelly and Fox aren’t exactly your most conventional couple.

The eccentric musician, who is responsible for hit tracks such as “Wild Boy” and “Till I Die,” started dating Fox a few months after she had separated from her husband of more than a decade, Brian Austin Green.

The pair met on the set of the Indie flick, Midnight In The Switchgrass, in March 2020, and immediately hit it off. A source told E! News at the time that they had “been hanging out a lot since their movie was shut down,” and that “the downtime has been good for them… They are intrigued by each other and having a lot of fun.”

In their first joint interview together, Fox said she felt an “astrological connection” between them.

“I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame,” she recalled. “Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”

Kelly and Fox then announced their engagement. Kelly proposed to Fox on January 11 at the Spa Botánico at the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico, the Daily Mail reports.

Fox shared the exciting news on Instagram with a video of the special moment when Kelly got down on one knee.

Alongside the video, she shared a lengthy caption revealing details about their relationship, writing: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic.”

“We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”

“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him,” she continued.

“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood.”

A few years have passed since then and it seems as though their relationship isn’t going so smoothly, as Fox has recently deleted her photos of MGK before deactivating her Instagram account.

This obviously led people to believe there was some sort of infidelity going on behind the scenes.

Speculation then begun over who MGK hooked up with — not that anything has been proven, and guitarist Sophie Lloyd’s name has surfaced multiple times.

Adding to this, before she deleted her account, Fox replied to a comment on her post questioning the reason behind her cryptic caption, she wrote: “Maybe I got with Sophie.”

She also followed 3 male celebrities Harry Styles, Timothée Chalamet, and Eminem, who MGK famously released a diss track about.

However, since then, Fox has reactivated her account to put the cheating rumours to bed. It seems there has been on infidelity in their relationship.

“There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons,” Fox wrote.

“While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.”
