Pete Davidson Angrily Pushes Away Fan Who Tries To Hug Him In Awkward Interaction

A video of Pete Davidson angrily pushing a fan away after he tried to get a hug has emerged online.

The clip has left fans divided, with some criticising the Bupkis star’s behaviour, while others have taken issue with the fan’s movements.

Now, Pete Davidson was born in New York City back in 1993.

His childhood was marked by tragedy when his father died in service for the fire brigade during the 9/11 attacks. Davidson was just 7 years old when his father passed, and he has spoken about how huge the effect of this loss was on him.

He recently opened up about his memories of that time while on Jon Bernthal’s Real Ones podcast, and how his father “told me he was going to pick me up on 9/11.”

“I got picked up by my mom. She didn’t tell me what was going on for like three days. She kept telling me dad’s at work, I had no idea.

“My mom’s like, ‘You’re just grounded, you’re not allowed to watch TV’.

“I was like, ‘What? I didn’t do anything’. And then one night I turn on the TV and I saw my dad on TV.

“They’re like, ‘These are all the fireman who are dead’,” he said, per The Mirror.

He added that it was a “weird” time for his family, as they had to wait to find out whether his father would emerge dead or alive from the rubble.

“There was just some sort of hope and it was just up and down and nobody knew the right way to deal with it.”

He added how it has impacted him later on in life: “Dad says he’s going to pick you up, he doesn’t, so for life I don’t believe anyone.

“I’m trying to learn how to believe people and Hollywood isn’t the best place to learn that skill. I went from traumatic life to high school traumatic life, because Hollywood’s like high school.”

Davidson has had a fairly tough time in the limelight, mostly as a result of his multiple high profile relationships.

To date, the Saturday Night Live star has been linked to Cazzie David, Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsdale, Margaret Qualley, Kaia Gerber, Phoebe Dyvenor and, of course, Kim Kardashian.

However, the latest reason for Davidson’s hitting the headlines has nothing to do with his love life, but rather his treatment of a fan during a recent Knicks game.

The twenty-nine-year-old was seen happily taking photos with fans, until one came and tried to get a bit too close to the star, resulting in Davidson being seen to push him away. The comedian then quickly turns back to fans ready to take more selfies.

The clip has left fans divided, who have taken to social media to share their thoughts.

One said: “Bro went from being ready to duel to cheesing for a picture to being back to angry in about 4ish seconds.”

Another wrote: “Pete is going out of his way to be nice and take photos with fans. He doesn’t have to. I would have reacted the exact same if some strange man approached me like that.”
