People Are Saying This Sylvester Stallone Film From The 90s Perfectly Predicted Our World Today

People are going crazy over an old Sylvester Stallone movie that came out in the ‘90s, with many claiming it predicted the future.

Now, it may be difficult to believe that a man who once struggled to find roles in movies, went on to become one of the most legendary actors in Hollywood history.

From taking on small roles to writing screenplays, Stallone is considered the virile man of Hollywood.

He is perhaps best known for creating and starring in the Rocky and Rambo film series, which made him an icon in the action genre.

In case you didn’t know, Rocky tells the story of a small-time boxer from Philidelphia who has to lace up his boots for a match with the reigning world heavyweight champion.

This movie really brought out the “can-do” attitude in the next generation. It makes sense… if Rocky can do it, why can’t I?

Sylvester found himself rising to further stardom with the initial release of First Blood in 1982.

First Blood was the home of some of the most iconic quotations that everyone’s familiar with but can’t quite remember where they come from, such as: “You trained me. You made me,” and “NOTHING IS OVER! Nothing!” Now you know.

Then came Rambo. Though the 2008 movie did get more of a mixed review. Critics praised the film’s action sequences and Stallone’s performance but criticised the movie’s excessive use of violence, which was deemed more nauseating than entertaining. It’s Rambo though, what else do you expect?

Currently, Stallone holds the title of actor, writer, director, and producer and is best known for his trademark garbled speech and his iconic smile.

And although he’s starred in a lot of classics over his career, there’s one movie everyone has been talking about online, and it’s because fans think it predicted the future.

The sci-fi action movie Demolition Man depicts the escalating battle against crime in Los Angeles as police officer John Spartan (Stallone) and vicious gangster Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes) are imprisoned in a facility known as a “CryoPrison.”

Although it is very ‘out there,’ the film makes a lot of surprising references to a number of the current problems impacting society today.

One of those issues being the restaurant business is completely destroyed, just as it was after Covid when thousands of businesses were forced to close their doors.

Shockingly, physical contact was also banned in the movie to prevent the spread of the virus… eerie, right?

Recently, the movie has become popular once again, and fans are just picking up the similarities, with some claiming the film predicted the future: “Has anyone else ever noticed how movies have scenes that kinda predict the future? I’m watching Demolition Man.

“The people from the future say they don’t shake hands and they don’t have toilet paper. We saw shortages of toilet paper and of course shaking hands is out,” one wrote.

Another added: “Of all the movies that tried to predict the future Demolition Man probably did it the best.”

While a third echoed: “Of all the ‘80s and early ‘90s movies to try and statically predict the future I think Demolition Man was the one that got the closest.”
Someone else said: “If you had Demolition Man as the movie that would accurately predict the future you’re a warlock or a genius.”
