ITV have announced that viewers should not expect This Morning to hit their screens later on this week as it has been pulled from the weekly schedule.
It comes as the show has been taken over by Allison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary as Holly Willoughby is currently on her summer break.
The show is due to come off air due to conflicts with the Women’s World Cup, which kicks off later this week.
The channel wrote: “As the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup kicks off this week, there will be some slight changes to our usual schedule. Here’s all the details you need for this week!”
The show will be off air on Thursday July 20, with the Australia vs Republic of Ireland match replacing the staple weekday show. There will also be no Loose Women that day either.
Fans have responded to the news on social media.
“OMG I’M DEVASTATED,” one person wrote.
Another commented: “Put football on ITV4. Don’t ruin it for all of us.”
While a third wrote: “The football could easy be on ITV2 as we all have it and leave normal schedules as is.”
The Women’s World Cup is set to take place until August 20, so viewers can expect the disruption to continue until then. This year, the competition is being jointly held by Australia and New Zealand, which explains the early morning disruption to British schedules.
