Elon Musk has responded after his ex-wife, British actress Talulah Riley, announced her engagement to none other than Love Actually‘s Thomas Brodie-Sangster.
Now, we all know who Elon Musk is. Whether it be sending things up into space via Space X, changing the game when it comes to cars with Tesla or leaving Twitter users completely baffled, it is safe to say he is rarely out of the headlines.
When it comes to outside of his career, Musk is still no stranger to controversy. He has been married a total of 3 times, and has ten children.
With his first wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson, he had 6 children. Sadly, their firstborn died of sudden infant death syndrome after just 10 weeks. They went on to welcome a set of twins, later followed by triplets. Musk and Wilson divorced in 2008 after 8 years of marriage.
He also has 2 children with Grimes, who is probably one of his most high-profile relationships. The singer claimed that their relationship is “very fluid”, and dated from 2018 until 2022.
His other kids come from his involvement with one of his employees at Nerualink, Shivon Zillis, with whom he welcomed twins back in 2021.
However, there is one woman that Musk never had kids with, yet married twice. That is with thirty-seven-year-old Talulah Riley. The British actress is best known for her work in movies such as 2005’s Pride and Prejudice, 2007’s St. Trinians as well as the HBO series Westworld.
Musk and Riley began dating back in 2008, and married in Scotland in 2010. They then divorced in 2012, before reconciling and re-marrying a year later.
The fifty-two-year-old billionaire then filed for divorce in 2014, before withdrawing the action later on. Riley eventually filed for their second divorce in 2016, after living separately for 6 months. Following their divorce, Musk then entered into relations with none other than Amber Heard.
So, it’s safe to say Musk has a long history when it comes to his love life, but he doesn’t seem to be holding out any bad blood with Riley, who has just announced her engagement to fellow Brit Thomas Brodie-Sangster.
Thirty-three-year-old Brodie-Sangster has been in a whole host of things, from Phineas and Ferb to Game of Thrones. However, he reportedly met Riley when working on Pistol.
Riley announced the pair’s engagement in a post on Twitter, in which she wrote: “Very happy to share that after two years of dating, Thomas Brodie Sangster and I are engaged!”
Musk then responded, reportedly within 5 minutes of her tweet going live, with a single “Congratulations,” followed by a red heart emoji.
