Love Island USA Confirms Same-Sex Relationship In The Villa

Love Island is perhaps the most cult reality show to screen in recent years, but even 8 years after its first-ever season aired in the UK, the show is covering new ground.

The American version of the show has confirmed its first-ever same-sex relationship in the villa.

Ever since Johnnie Garcia entered the villa as a bombshell contestant, her relationship with Kassy Castillo has bloomed, and now the pair seem to be taking things to the next level.

The latest episode of the show showed the pair discussing their feelings towards each other, and the pair both agreed that they wanted to take things beyond a friendship and get to know each other on a romantic level.

The show’s social media channels have shared a clip showing the pair’s discussion.

“I obviously find you attractive, I just didn’t know if you felt the attraction too. I just wanted to know if you were seeing that,” Kassy said.

Johnnie quickly responded: “B**** I been seeing it, what do you mean?”

“We joke around and stuff, but I didn’t know if its really joking or not,” Kassy continued, to which Johnnie responded: “I’m not joking.”

“I kept looking at you, and I kept wanting to talk to you. So I was like ‘I’m low-key down for this,’” Kassy added.

“I like people that bring out a fun side in me, and I feel fun when I’m with you,” Johnnie responded. “I feel comfortable when I’m with you. Those aren’t things you often find in people where you’re [on the island] – you get to be somebody else when you’re with them.”

Twenty-two-year-old Kassy agreed: “I think we’d be cute together, and I wouldn’t mind exploring more whenever.”

Johnnie took her chance to make a move as she replied: “How about now?”

The pair then leant in and shared a kiss, before giggling.

They won’t be able to couple up until the next recoupling ceremony, but we can’t wait to see how their relationship blossoms!
