Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has finally embarked on its international leg, with her first ever shows in Mexico City having taken place last week.
However, during one section of her performance, the ‘Karma’ singer appeared to make a joke about where one of her longest-running feuds first began – when Kanye West interrupted her on stage at the 2009 VMAs.
The buildup to The Eras Tour was huge, as it marks Swift’s first time on the road since 2018. Considering the star has released 7 whole albums since then, it’s no surprise that Swifties had to battle in the great war of Ticketmaster in order to get their hands on those precious tickets.
However, thus far, Swift proved her complete and utter commitment to putting her best foot forward. The show lasts for over 3 hours, with the setlist clocking in at a mammoth forty-four songs, including 2 acoustic surprise songs that change every night.

Despite the tour being on a scale that has rarely been seen before, Swift still hasn’t forgotten her roots. She recently proved this with one witty comment harking back to her Fearless era when Kanye West interrupted her on stage after she won a VMA.
“People chanting your name, it’s really the only way to be interrupted… and I would know,” Swift said while sat at the piano during the Evermore section of her show.
