Salma Hayek is no stranger to a bikini picture, but for some fans, her latest sizzling snap has gone a step too far.
Some fans are even going so far as to calling for the star to stop sharing swimsuit pictures to social media.
Now, Hayek is an absolute legend of cinema. Born on September 2, 1966, she gained international fame for her roles in both Mexican and Hollywood films.
Hayek’s breakthrough came in 2002 with the film Frida, in which she portrayed renowned Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, earning her an Academy Award nomination.
She has since appeared in numerous successful movies, including Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, Eternals and Grown Ups. One of most recent movies, Magic Mike’s Last Dance, saw Hayek get up close and personal with Channing Tatum.
“That was the one want for how we are in this story,” Tatum told ET about her casting. “I just really wanted the strongest possible [woman] and she came in [and] actually controlled the whole thing. She came and saved our movie because we had a bunch of men that were trying to tell a story about a woman.”
Aside from Hollywood, Hayek is also involved in humanitarian work and women’s rights activism. Her talent, beauty, and advocacy have made her a prominent figure in the entertainment industry and beyond.
So, it’s no surprise that when the star posts to Instagram, all hell breaks loose.
Hayek is known for posting pics of her incredible physique online, and fans have gone crazy for the star after her most recent post. However, others are calling for her to stop her trend of posting bikini pics.
Hayek previously spoke out about how she has no plans to stop sharing swimsuit snaps, as she finds sharing such photos of herself “liberating.”
“I had to lose a lot of weight and exercise to get into the bikini towards the end of last year,” she started.
“I’m glad I took a lot of pictures, I have no shame on it, because it was the first week of the vacation,” she told Entertainment Tonight back in 2021.
People are sick of it, but I’m going to let them take a break,” she said. “They’re going to think I’m wearing a bikini every day. No, they’re all from the same location.”
However, it seems fans are getting fed up with Salma flaunting her fabulous figure, as some are begging her to tone it down in the comments of her latest post.
The star posed in a maxi length navy and white striped skirt with a matching navy bikini top.
“Please stop looking so hot every time,” one person wrote.
A second said: “Ok chica stop looking so damn fire.”
Whatever fans say, Salma has made it clear that she isn’t planning on stopping anytime soon!
