Britney Spears Has Opened Up About Being “Lied To” Or “Tricked” After Admitting She Believes Sam Asghari Was “Secretly Working” With Her Father

Britney Spears hasn’t held back from utilising her Instagram page as a platform to express her opinions ever since it was revealed that she had split from Sam Asghari.

Britney Spears has sent the internet into shock after she shared a twenty-two minute long video detailing the shocking details of her time under conservatorship.

The clip was posted to her social accounts, but was deleted after a short while.

The explosive video comes weeks after the news of Britney’s impending divorce from Sam Asghari. Britney and Sam first started dating way back in 2016 after meeting on the set of one of Britney’s videos. They got engaged in September 2021, and officially tied the knot in June 2022.

Twenty-nine-year-old Sam was there the whole way through the Free Britney movement, and seemed to be firmly on Britney’s side through the whole saga, even posing in a T-shirt for the cause.

But ever since her restrictive conservatorship ended, forty-one-year-old Britney has been making headlines across the world.

At first, she was delighting fans with the glimpse of newfound freedom, but it wasn’t long before fans began to grow concerned for the star.

Earlier this year, fans were left concerned about Brit’s well-being once again, after her Instagram account disappeared from the site. In total, she has reportedly deactivated her account a whopping 8 times over the last year.

Fans were so concerned about the star in fact, that one time they called the Ventura Co. Sheriff’s Office, and the police actually paid a visit to Britney at her home, as per TMZ.

She took to Twitter to share her response, writing: “As everyone knows, the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls. I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded.

“The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realised there was no issue and left immediately.

“I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward,” she concluded.

Since this incident, Britney has been laying pretty low. However, in recent months, both her and her husband, Sam Asghari, have been spotted out and about without their wedding bands on, leading to speculation as to whether the pair were still together.

However, earlier this month, the news was confirmed by TMZ that the pair are heading for divorce.

The outlet reported that it comes after ‘deep trouble’ in Britney and Sam’s relationship, with sources claiming that a ‘nuclear’ argument about cheating allegations as being the final nail in the coffin. They add that Sam has moved out of the house and is living in his own place.

They went on to report that Sam was hitting out at Britney by telling people that she cheated on him with at least one male member of staff, and has engaged in inappropriate conduct with other workers. He claims that there is compromising footage of Britney with a staffer, which confirmed his suspicions.

However, it seems Britney is taking the chance to enjoy her new freedoms after the split. The latest example of this is the explosive video she shared over the weekend which detailed the toxic experiences she had during her conservatorship.

Brit began the long clip by explaining that she’s had numerous offers to tell her side of the story, but added that she wanted to speak on her own terms.

In the video that she shared to YouTube and Twitter, she said, via UNILAD: “For some reason, I started to get a spark back. I started making Glory, and I got the fire back in my eyes.

“I started getting more confidence, and with confidence, people were like ‘What’s going on now, she’s speaking up a little more. I think with confidence comes enlightenment, which makes you think better. That’s the last thing they wanted.

“I had to just play this role, that everything was OK all the time. I knew they could hurt me.”

She went on to describe recording her 2008 album Circus, explaining that she was called ‘fat’ everyday and how ‘demoralising’ that was for her.

The ‘Toxic’ singer explained that her family grew more controlling after her ‘harmless’ taunting of the paparazzi.

“The extent of my madness was playing chase with paparazzi, which is still to this day one of the most fun things I ever did about being famous,” she shared.

Furthermore, the star revealed that she had been held down on a gurney on the day she was placed on psychiatric hold, which marked the beginning of her conservatorship journey.

The singer has now been even more open about her breakdown of her marriage telling her fans that she “couldn’t take the pain anymore.”

“I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that,” she wrote. “I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but for some reason I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses.”

And now, she has posted a video of herself dancing to Kelis hit track, “Trick Me.” Sh could be seen mouthing the lyrics: “You might trick me once / No, I won’t let me trick you twice,” and some think she’s hinting about her divorce.

She captioned the post: “My HANDS ON MY HIPS SAY EVERYTHING !!!” Adding: “How many times have you guys been lied to or tricked by someone you loved ??? Psss on repeat because well … I MEAN IT !!!”

This follows previous claims that suggest Britney had concerns Sam has been betraying her for the entirety of their relationship by “secretly” collaborating with her father, Jamie Spears.

An insider recently told Daily Mail: “Britney has reason to believe that Sam was secretly working with her dad Jamie since early on in their relationship.”

They added: “Sam would supply information to Jamie that would help to keep her locked in the conservatorship,” and “in exchange, Sam was given access to her and her money.”

“Britney now feels like Sam was being deceitful all along,” they said.

What do you think?
