Fans have been calling out Kim Kardashian in the comment section of her most recent post for her appalling “tribute” to the late Steve Harwell, who passed away earlier this week.
“Kim the smash mouth guy just died. Take this down,” one shocked fan wrote.
And dozens more agree.
Now, Kim K is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the celebosphere.
Aside from coming from one of the most famous families on the planet, Kim has also proven herself to be a mastermind of the business world. She has founded no less than thirteen businesses, including KKW Beauty and the highly successful shapewear brand Skims.
However, in recent years, Kim has struggled to escape the publicity surrounding her controversial ex-husband – Kanye West.
Divorce negotiations were ongoing between the pair since they first announced their split back in February 2021. However, by November 2022, the divorce was finalised.
The couple initially began dating way back in 2012, and their first child, North, was born in 2013. Kanye then proposed later that year, with the pair officially tying the knot in 2014 in a wedding ceremony in Florence, Italy.
They have 4 children together, named North, Saint, Psalm and Chicago.
However, the latest news about the Kardashian is more controversial, as the star was seen posing in a gold bikini in her most recent Instagram post with the caption “All that glitters is gold,” a famous lyric in Smash Mouth’s hit song All Star.
Understandably, this has ruffled a lot of feathers, as the lead singer, Steve Harwell sadly died this week, aged just 56, from liver failure after a history of alcohol addiction.
And it didn’t take long for people to call the star out for her “tone deaf” post.
One person commented: “Low key tone deaf but go off,” one person commented.
A second wrote: “Wow…this is what tone deaf and ignorance looks like.”
“kim there’s people that are dying- literally,” another added.
While a fourth echoed: “Someone dies and you use their lyrics to post a thirst trap.”
What do you make of her post?
