Ashton Kutcher’s Comments About 15-Year Old Hilary Duff Have Resurfaced Following Danny Masterson Letter

Following Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ letters of support for Danny Masterson going public, an old video has resurfaced online showing Kutcher make a disgusting comment about a then 15-year-old Hilary Duff.

As we previously reported, That 70s Show actor Danny Masterson was found guilty of r*ping two women twenty years ago and was finally given a sentence of 30 years to life in jail on Thursday, September 7.

However, before he was found guilty, Masterson’s co-stars from That 70s Show, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis wrote a letter of support for him to help his case.

“While I’m aware that the judgement has been cast as guilty on two counts of rape by force and the victims have a great desire for justice, I hope that my testament to his character is taken into consideration in sentencing,” Ashton wrote.

“Danny has consistently displayed a profound sense of responsibility and care for those around him. He demonstrates grace and empathy in every situation, be it within the entertainment industry or in our personal lives. His steady support and understanding presence make him a reliable source of guidance and comfort for all of us,” Mila wrote in her own letter.

“I do not believe he is an ongoing harm to society and having his daughter raised without a present father would a tertiary injustice in and of itself. Thank you for taking the time to read this.”

It didn’t take long for those letters to go public, and now the pair have issued an apology for the “pain that has been caused” as a result of the letters going viral.

“We support victims, we have done this historically through our work and we will continue to do so in the future,” Kunis said in their video.

“A couple of months ago, Danny’s family reached out to us and they asked us to write character letters to represent the person that we knew for 25 years so that the judge could take that into full consideration relative to the sentencing,” Ashton said.

Mila continued: “The letters were not written to question the legitimacy of the judicial system or the validity of the jury’s ruling.”

Ashton concluded their video: “They were intended for the judge to read and not to undermine the testimony of the victims or retraumatize them in any way. We would never want to do that, and we’re sorry if that has taken place,” and Mila ended by saying: “Our heart goes out to every single person who’s ever been a victim of s*xual assault, s*xual abuse or r*pe.”

And now, just days after Kutcher showed his support for Masterson, an old video has surfaced of the star making some questionable comments about 15-year-old Hilary Duff.

The clip came from an episode of PUNKd from 2003, in which they both appear on the show.

Kutcher can be heard saying: “Hilary Duff is in Lizzie McGuire, she also has an album out. She’s going to be in a movie called Cheaper by the Dozen… And she’s one of the girls that we’re all waiting for to turn 18. Along with the Olsen twins.”

Understandably, people were disgusted by his comments, and many took to social media to share their thoughts, with one saying: “What makes this even more nauseating is in 2002/2003, a 24 or 25 year old Ashton Kutcher worked with a 15 or 16 year old Hilary Duff on the set of cheaper by the dozen. him then going on to say this… I don’t have a single positive thing to say about Ashton Kutcher.”

While another said: “Remember when Ashton Kutcher sexualised children by saying he was waiting for Hilary Duff and the Olsen twins to turn 18 — and now here he is writing a character reference for a convicted r*pist who is such a good father, husband and friend that justice shouldn’t apply to him.”
