After receiving multiple criticisms about her looks on social media, Jennifer Love Hewitt has responded to fans who made the remarks.
The actress’s apparent shift in appearance has generated a huge discussion on social media.
Hewitt showed off her new hair colour, which she had styled in a bob cut with lengthy curtain fringe on Instagram last month.
Her ardent followers shared their love for her latest look, while others couldn’t help but notice how her face seems to have changed.
The comments came flooding in, with one writing: “She was beautiful before she had the work done. Still beautiful but a totally different face.”
While a second wrote: “Am I trippin or in the multiverse, because she looks a bit different.”
After reading the comments, the actress addressed the rumours that she may have undergone cosmetic surgery.
Hewitt posted a series of photos of herself on September 3, using multiple filters that significantly changed how she looked. She joked in the description of her post: “So many people said I look different… I look the same as always. Couldn’t look more natural… Filters don’t change you that much.”
She then added: “But seriously let people be filtered or unfiltered,” she added. “Be good. Be kind. Spread love.”
Following this, she spoke out about her alleged cosmetic procedures, saying: In her own words: “I don’t usually do this, but I’ve had a lot of people say that I’ve had a brow-lifting procedure. I didn’t even know you could lift your brows like that. The only thing that I’ve done is microblading with Audrey [Glass].”
Along with this, Hewitt also revealed some beauty tips. She praised the new Brow Harmony Flexible Lifting Gel in particular and spoke highly of Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty range in general.
“I have been using this product, and I’m noticing people bringing up my brows,” she explained. “Selena, ‘Thank you.’ I love it, so I’m going to put it up so that you know what it is, but that’s what it is. That is the brow-lifting that people are talking about. That’s all I got.”
So it seems this is the work of some pretty good products.
