New Netflix Movie Is So Scary Viewers Are Being Forced To Turn It Off After 2 Minutes

People are so terrified by one of Netflix’s latest movies, that viewers have been turning it off after watching the start.

The Little Things from Warner Bros. is a recent addition to the streaming service. It is set in the 1990s and centres on two police officers looking into a string of killings in Los Angeles.

They become entangled in a complicated web of criminality and deceit, and are forced to battle their inner demons as they investigate the crimes. The two men’s pursuit of the murderer turns into an arduous psychological trip as they battle their respective ghosts from their pasts, stirred up by the case.

The movie’s synopsis reads: “Deputy Sheriff Joe ‘Deke’ Deacon joins forces with Sgt. Jim Baxter to search for a serial killer who’s terrorizing Los Angeles. As they track the culprit, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke’s past, uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case.”

When The Little Things was first released, reviews were mixed. Many praised the performances and atmospheric qualities while many others criticised the film’s formulaic approach to the thriller genre.

The film features a number of talented actors, including Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, and Jared Leto. Leto famously won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role.

Washington also discussed how working on the film alongside Leto and Malek helped him realise his position in Hollywood has shifted in an interview with Chicago Reel.

“Watching, there’s a scene we shot with Jared and Rami and they’re in the interrogation room. And I’m in the observation room. The cameras were all in there the first half of the day or whatever and I’m just in the observation room, missing the popcorn, just watching these two young guys go at it,” he said. “Whatever amount of years ago, 30 years ago, I was the young guy with Gene Hackman or whoever. But now I’m the guy watching the young guys.

“It was fascinating… to watch their joust if you will.”

After watching the film, dozens of Netflix users shared their thoughts online, with one writing: “Watching ‘the little things’ on Netflix and the first 2 minutes are so scary I’m not sure I can continue.”

While another said: “2min 52 sec into Netflix the little things & it’s made me so anxious I’ve had to turn it off.”

Have you watched it yet?
