Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her health, as she shared the heartbreaking realities of her cancer journey with her followers.
The Kardashian family is a force to behold in modern pop culture. With mother Kris Jenner at the helm, the family has rocketed Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie all to mega levels of fame and wealth with their various social media personas and business pursuits. Keeping up With The Kardashians may have been one of the causes of their fame, but the family have made sure to make the most of it!
With their areas of expertise ranging from Kim’s billion-dollar company Skims to Kendall’s domination of the most prestigious fashion week runways, the family have pretty much everything covered.
But Khloe is an icon in her own right. Aged thirty-eight, she is the youngest of the 3 Kardashian sisters, but falls directly in the middle of the group of 5 Kar-Jenner girls.
Throughout her career, Khloe has embarked on various business ventures, including clothing lines, fragrance lines, and a successful denim brand called Good American. She has also been an advocate for body positivity and empowerment, openly discussing her own struggles with body image and promoting self-acceptance.
However, fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians will be aware that Khloe hasn’t had the easiest time when it comes to her love life. The thirty-nine-year-old split with the father of her children, Tristan Thompson, in 2019 after it was revealed that he cheated on her with her younger sister Kylie’s best friend Jordyn Woods.
The pair managed to make things up, though, and by 2020 they were back together as they quarantined together. Flash forward a few years and the pair welcomed their second child together. Their son Tatum was born in July of 2022.
However, the latest update from the star concerns her health. Khloe revealed that she had a “small spec of melanoma” removed from her face last year, and has now opened up about the experience further.
“For those who do not know I had a skin cancer scare on my face,” she wrote on her Instagram story on Tuesday, via Page Six.
“We had to remove a tumour from my cheek, I was Ieft with an indention,” she continued.
“I am definitely not complaining because I would rather have an indention than melanoma any day.”
“I waited for over nine months to get this filled by the way,” she said. “Patience is everything and of course we have to make sure medically everything is all safe.”
“I look insane in these pics but I’m just happy that my face is slowly coming back together ha,” she added, as she shared photos of the filling experience, which she said “will always be something” she has to do.
