After more than two decades, Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye Brosnan continue to thrive together. And recently, he went all out for her sixtieth birthday.
According to Us Weekly, Pierce and Keely initially connected in Mexico back in 1994, Keely then gave birth to their first child in 1997, followed by their second in 2001, before getting hitched later that year.
Since then, it seems like their relationship has only become stronger as they frequently share heartfelt tributes to one another online.
The James Bond star recently gave his wife 60 flowers and posted a heartfelt message on social media to celebrate her milestone birthday.
Pierce took to Instagram to gush over his wife, writing: “Sixty roses for my brown eyed girl on her 60th birthday,” adding: “Forever happy and blessed was I to be sitting there when you walked around the corner early one morning in Cabo San Lucas @keelyshayebrosnan.”
And dozens of fans have shared their thoughts on his loving gift in the comment section, with one writing: “I really love couples who are still loyal and love each so much despite the passage of time! Sending birthday wishes to your lovely wife!”
While a second commented: “Happy 60th Birthday @keelyshayebrosnan . I hope that your day is beautiful & blessed.”
“If only all couples were this dedicated to each other. A fantastic example to your children and to us all,” a third added.
This isn’t the first time Pierce has shared the love for his wife, as last year for her birthday, he wrote: “Happy Birthday my darling @KeelyShayeBrosnan. I love you dearly. So many years of love, life, work and play. Onwards we go!”
Brosnan was married once before to Cassandra Harris from 1980 until her death from cancer in 1991. Three years later, he was given a second shot at love after meeting Keely during a trip to Mexico.
“I had a great marriage which sadly had its own ending, and I was lucky enough to find love again. We were meant to find each other. I thank God for her every day,” he revealed to Closer, back in 2018. “When Keely looks at me, I go weak. I love her vitality, her passion. She has this strength that I wouldn’t be able to live without.”
