Mr Beast is one of the most successful YouTube creators ever, but his latest video might have taken things a bit too far.

The content creator, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is known for his ambitious videos, which have included things such as bringing the TV show Squid Game to life (minus the death part), trying solitary confinement for 50 hours and making people from the ages of 1 to 100 compete to win $500,000.

The twenty-five-year-old’s videos are so popular that he became YouTube’s most subscribed to individual back in 2022, overtaking PewDiePie. At the time of writing, Mr Beast’s main channel has over 188 million subscribers.

Forbes estimates that he was the highest paid content creator of last year, with a total net worth of $54 million.

However, despite all of his achievements, Mr Beast’s latest video might end up being his last, as the star has admitted he might ‘go broke’ if the production carries on for much longer.

His latest video involves paying a man $10,000 for every day he lives inside of a supermarket, and Donaldson has admitted he might have made a mistake with the plans.

“I messed up.. I bought a random grocery store and told a random person I’d give him $10,000 every day he lives in it and it’s been weeks and he shows no signs of ever leaving. I’m gonna go broke,” he wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

Fans of the star responded to the post attempting to figure out just how much he has spent, with Donaldson responding to one person clarifying that “it’s been over a month so far.”

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that this is some hefty payout, as if the man in question has already been inside for over a month then he will have already racked up at least $300,000.

“If I were him, I wouldn’t leave too,” one fan joked after doing the maths.

“Can’t wait to watch this video in 2025 when he’s a multimillionaire,” a second put.

“Bro how do I participate in a Mr Beast challenge,” a third asked.

Donaldson also clarified that it wasn’t an actual working grocery store, but one that he had “blacked out the windows and locked.”
