Now, Cooper was brought up in Pennsylvania, where he first began his journey to stardom. From an early age, Cooper knew he wanted to be an actor, and it only took his parents seeing him in a production of The Elephant Man to get behind him.
Despite his knowing that the theatrical life was for him, Cooper went to Georgetown University where he studied for a degree in English and French, before nabbing himself a place on an acting degree at the Actors Studio Drama School in New York City.
After he graduated with his master’s, Cooper quickly found his place on the silver screen, having bagged his first on-screen role in Wet Hot American Summer almost immediately after graduation. He went on to achieve small roles in Wedding Crashers, Failure to Launch and Yes Man, before his big breakthrough with his role of Phil Wenneck in the 2009 comedy classic The Hangover.
From there, Cooper was undoubtedly one of the most famous names around. However, it is safe to say that it was his performance in 2012’s Silver Linings Playbook that confirmed the star as one of the best actors of his generation. He received an Oscar nomination for his performance, which would end up being the first of many nods from the Academy.
Cooper’s career has completely blossomed since, and he has moved to playing a more pivotal role behind the camera as well as in front of it with his work on directing A Star Is Born, as well as producing American Sniper and Joker.
However, the forty-eight-year-old has found himself under scrutiny in recent weeks after details of his new relationship emerged.
Cooper has reportedly been dating twenty-eight-year-old American model Gigi Hadid, but fans are fuming after finding out the news.
The pair were spotted out on a dinner date last week, but people are all saying the same thing about the pair.
“Gigi is twenty-eight, while Bradley is forty-eight… That a twenty year age difference….wow,” one person wrote.
A second put: “Bradley Cooper is dating Gigi Hadid?? Boy if u don’t pick someone your age I’m gonna pick a new favourite hot guy.”
While a third said: “Genuinely asking: are men (especially famous men) unable to date women their age??”
