Britney Spears’ highly anticipated memoir The Woman In Me is almost here, but multiple stories surrounding the singer’s 3-year relationship with fellow popstar Justin Timberlake have already come to the surface.
Earlier this week, the ‘Circus’ songstress revealed that she had an abortion after falling pregnant with Justin’s baby, as he “didn’t want to be a father.”
But now, the star has revealed exactly how Justin broke things off with her – and it has left fans fuming.
Leaked segments from her memoir claimed that Britney had an abortion after falling pregnant with the ‘NSYNC star’s baby, as he “didn’t want to be a father.”
However, the latest update from Britney addresses her own infidelity in their relationship. Speculation that the star had cheated on Justin has been rife since he released his ‘Cry Me A River’ music video way back in 2003.
Now, Britney Spears needs no introduction. Since she first rocked onto the scene back in 1999 at the age of just sixteen with her debut track ‘…Baby One More Time’, she has been a mainstay of pop iconography.
Following on from her mega debut, Britney went from strength to strength with hits such as ‘Oops!… I Did It Again’, ‘Toxic’ and ‘Gimme More’.
Behind the popstar facade, though, Britney faced some serious struggles. She lost custody of her 2 sons in 2008, and was placed under a conservatorship, which gave her father and attorney Andrew Wallet complete control of her assets.
Following the rise of the Free Britney movement, the spotlight landed on her conservatorship. The singer accused her father, family and management of abuse, including mistreatment and coercion, which finally led to the termination of the conservatorship.
However, in the wake of the conservatorship’s termination, Britney has faced a lot of challenges.
Back in August, the news that she was divorcing her partner of 7 years, and husband of fourteen months, Sam Ashghari.
Twenty-nine-year-old Sam was there the whole way through the Free Britney movement, and seemed to be firmly on Britney’s side through the whole saga.
However since the conservatorship ended, the forty-one-year-old star has been making headlines across the world.
At first, she was delighting fans with the glimpse of newfound freedom, but it wasn’t long before people began to grow concerned for the star.
Earlier this year, her followers grew so concerned after she deactivated her Instagram post that they called the police to check she was okay.
This isn’t the only time the cops have turned up to check on her, as just a few weeks ago they performed yet another wellness check after the singer shared a video of herself dancing with knives.
However, one of the latest updates comes amid mounting speculation as to what the star’s upcoming memoir is going to entail.
TMZ reports that one of the biggest bombshells from the book is set to be that Britney got pregnant while dating Justin Timberlake when she was around nineteen years old.
Sources with knowledge of the book told the outlet that Brit felt Justin was the love of her life, and she fell pregnant in late 2000.
“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” Britney writes in the book.
However, Justin felt differently.
“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young,” Brit writes.
Despite being “conflicted” over the decision, Britney ended up getting an abortion after the pair decided it was for the best.
Britney also accused Justin of cheating on her with “another celebrity” in the book.
And now, she has revealed that the ‘Cry Me a River’ singer even broke up with her via text, per UNILAD.
Fans have been responding to the reports, and people have a lot to say.
“This was so long ago he must have tapped those number buttons so many times to get the breakup text out,” oner person pointed out.
“Breaking up with someone through text who not only lost their virginity to you but had to get a abortion because of you is something only a evil person would do,” a second wrote.
A third put: “So much more diabolical when you consider the year. You know it read like ‘m brkn up w u. sry’.”
