Love Island Games star Megan Barton Hanson made a biting remark today, directing an x-rated comment towards her exes Wes Nelson and James Lock in a rather explicit manner.
The 29-year-old reality TV personality, known for her high-profile relationships, rose to fame as a Love Island bombshell in 2018 and currently stars in the reality show’s spin-off series, Love Island Games. Today, she used a video clip from the show as an opportunity to mock her former partners.
Sharing a clip on her Instagram Stories, the footage displayed female contestants from Love Island Games spitting liquid into the mouths of male contestants.
Using the challenge as a chance to jest about her past relationships, Megan posted, “This ep was so funny. That challenge was so gross! Honestly the WORST thing I’ve ever put in my mouth and you guys have seen some of my ex’s. That’s saying something! (followed by a laughing emoji)”
Megan’s well-known relationships include her highly publicised romance with Wes Nelson, whom she met during their time as coupled contestants on Love Island in 2018. Their relationship ended in 2019 amid allegations that Wes was getting too close to his Dancing On Ice partner, Vanessa Bauer. Following this, Megan entered into a fluctuating romance with Towie star James Lock, which eventually concluded earlier this year.
In a conversation with Jamie Laing on the Private Parts podcast over the summer, Megan discussed her previous involvement in a throuple relationship, sharing her journey in discovering her bisexuality. She explained that her realisation began at college, describing feelings of jealousy when her best friend, who had a boyfriend, spent time with him. Megan has always been candid about her appreciation for women and opened up about a photoshoot experience in the south of France, stating, “When we got back to London, she was like, ‘I’ve got a boyfriend. But it’s an open relationship’. So, I started seeing them as a couple.”
Since then, Megan has openly identified as bisexual and has engaged in relationships with women, including footballer Chelcee Grimes and Towie’s Demi Sims. Expressing her excitement in exploring her identity, Megan mentioned her liberation when she came out as bisexual during her stint on Celebs Go Dating in 2019. She expressed, “I was so excited as a bisexual woman from a small town as I had no clue how to find other bisexual or gay women myself.” Her public candour in embracing her identity has been a significant milestone in her personal journey.
