Kylie Kelce, wife to Jason Kelce, recently shared her intention to avoid the VIP suite during the “Monday Night Football” game between the Eagles and the Chiefs, where her husband and brother-in-law face off.
Speaking to Spectrum News in Kansas City, Kylie expressed her preference for being in the stands, cheering alongside fellow fans, even in an opposing team’s stadium.
The Kelce family’s visibility has significantly increased since Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift became an item. Swift has been a regular presence in the suites during Chiefs games, often accompanied by Travis’s parents and Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany. However, Kylie Kelce is not seeking the spotlight and won’t be joining the VIP experience.
“It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of the camera. I was a communication major in college; I love to be behind it. That’s my bread and butter,” Kylie explained.
Despite her preference for a more private role, Kylie recognizes the potential to leverage her network for positive impact in the Kansas City community.
Hosting a field hockey clinic for kids in Kansas City, Kylie shared her desire to give back to the city that has been kind to the Kelce family. She expressed hope for enough fans in the stadium to cheer on the Eagles and secure a victory for her husband against the Chiefs, acknowledging that they are overdue for a win after previous losses.
In reflecting on the attention Travis Kelce receives in the media, Kylie emphasized her own inclination to stay behind the scenes. However, she sees the potential to use her position to benefit the community. Her focus is on creating opportunities and making a positive impact, aligning with the generosity that the Kelce family aims to extend to Kansas City.
While Jason Kelce has previously expressed concern about how Travis handles the spotlight, Travis’s mother, Donna, assured reporters that he is handling the attention well. Donna mentioned that Travis enjoys the attention and, as long as he can manage it, she has no issues with the increased scrutiny on his life.
As the Kelce family navigates the spotlight and the upcoming football showdown, Kylie remains committed to her preferred role in the stands and using her influence for the greater good of the community.
