ITV I’m A Celebrity Star left Fuming after Bitter Fallout with Hosts Ant and Dec

The latest episode of ITV’s “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!” showcased a dramatic confrontation involving former world champion boxer Tony Bellew. The heated argument unfolded just before the credits rolled on Friday night’s episode, leaving viewers astonished.

Tony Bellew, a participant in the reality show, expressed his frustration after his team, Camp Away, lost the luxury breakfast challenge. The defeat meant another day without the comforting tastes of home for the former boxing champion. Host Dec Donnelly shared Tony’s discontent with viewers, revealing, “He was like, ‘That’s not right. They’re doing that because they want to see a fat man starve.’”

Concerns grew about Tony’s potential reaction to the upcoming Bushtucker Trial, with Dec expressing hope that Tony wouldn’t be selected. “If Tony has to do the drinking challenge, he’s going to punch me in the face. I mean, he can’t even eat beans…” remarked Dec, referencing a previous incident where Tony struggled with consuming beans. Ant McPartlin added humorously, “He’ll knock both of us out. Can we not do it, can’t we send in a VT of ourselves?”

The source of Tony’s frustration originated from a handball challenge where he initially believed he and Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard had defeated Fred Sirieix and Frankie Dettori. However, to Tony’s surprise, the First Dates maître d’ and the jockey had won by 21 points. Frustrated, Tony exclaimed, “That is a load of b******s! We need VAR!”

Viewers of the show took to social media to share their reactions to Tony’s intense response. One viewer expressed feeling intimidated, stating, “Tony scares me like he’s going to kick off at any minute.” Another fan suggested, “Nah, can we not get a live stream of Tony Bellew’s continuous reaction to that result, he’s not far off being ready to swing at Ant and Dec with that losing rage building.”

This incident occurred during a challenging period for Tony Bellew, who recently lost his beloved grandmother, Rose. The boxer shared his commitment to the show, explaining that he had signed the contract the day before his grandmother’s passing, leaving him with no option but to honor his commitment. Despite the tough circumstances, Tony acknowledged that he would return to bury his grandmother, highlighting her enthusiasm for watching the show and remembering her as a wonderful person.
