Since its debut at the Telluride Film Festival in August, Oscar-nominated director Emerald Fennell’s second film, Saltburn, has sparked a flurry of hot takes and fervent commentary on the internet. Described as a posh thriller, Chief Film Critic Clarisse Loughrey of The Independent labeled it a class satire in her review, noting its lack of conclusive statements.
