“Love Island” fans have expressed their disapproval of Molly Smith following an uncomfortable conversation with her ex, Callum Jones.
Molly confronted Callum for answers after he disclosed the number of women he had been with since their breakup. During a truth and dare game around the firepit, Callum shocked his fellow All Stars islanders by revealing he had slept with 16 girls since becoming single.
Molly, 29, was particularly taken aback by this revelation and labeled his behavio8r “tragic.” She sought out Callum for a discussion to address the issue.
In the conversation, Callum attempted to defend himself, saying, “I’m being honest at the end of the day, what else do you want me to do about the situation.” Molly responded, “Be a little bit more remorseful about it maybe.” She then corrected herself, “Wrong word…a little bit more considerate about it.”
She further commented, “I just think it speaks volumes with your actions,” leading Callum to question, “Why’s that?” Molly retorted, “Actions speak louder than words.” Callum, puzzled, asked, “But I don’t get what the past has got to do with it?”
Molly explained her perspective, stating, “Because I actually dealt with the breakdown of the relationship, rather than just going around sleeping with people.” Callum countered, “I feel like you’ve got a lot of resentment, I’m not going to lie,” to which Molly inquired, “Resentment as in what?”
Callum perceived, “Resentment towards me, I just feel like there’s a lot of resentment there.” Molly maintained, “I think it does, that’s personally my opinion on the situation,” as Callum expressed, “You’re more than welcome to feel like that. I still care about you, I still want to have a good relationship with you, whether that be as a friend or what.”
Molly concluded the conversation, saying, “I think a friendship is well off the cards.” Callum responded, “Alright, sound,” and Molly affirmed, “Sound, we’ve cleared that one up.”
However, viewers were puzzled by Molly’s reaction, questioning why she was concerned with Callum’s post-breakup activities. One viewer commented, “Molly girl what do YOU want? You don’t want Callum YET you don’t want anyone else to have him, it’s giving obsessed because you’re always on this boy’s a*** everyday about something.”
