Michael Jackson’s Son, Blanket, Makes Rare Appearance In Family Photo

In a rare family photo, Bigi Jackson, formerly known as Blanket, was captured alongside his Jackson cousins, including Randy Jr., Donté, Royal, and Jermajesty Jackson, along with Norwegian rapper Omer Bhatti. The group gathered in what appeared to be a bar, with Bhatti sharing the moment on Instagram on Sunday, captioning it “Lately” accompanied by a palm tree emoji.

Fans expressed delight at seeing the seldom-seen Bigi in the snapshot, with one expressing gratitude for the share and another noting the striking resemblance between Bigi and his late father, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Bhatti, a longtime friend of the Jackson family, received praise for his enduring connection with them.

As the youngest of Michael Jackson’s three children, Bigi has largely stayed out of the public eye since the pop icon’s death in 2009 at the age of 50. However, he made a notable appearance in August of the previous year, joining his older brother Prince in Las Vegas to celebrate their father’s 65th birthday at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

The siblings engaged with supporters, participated in a Q&A session, and took pictures at the venue, which hosts the Cirque du Soleil show Michael Jackson ONE. First unveiled in February 2013, the event marked its 10th-anniversary residency in Vegas the previous year.

Bigi was also spotted at the Annual Thriller Night Halloween Party hosted by Prince in October 2022 at the Jackson family home in Encino, California. Although he generally avoids the limelight, Bigi has been working on his career as a producer and director, with his short film Rochelles set for release in 2024.

In a rare interview with Good Morning Britain in 2021, Bigi discussed his passion for climate change and his ambition to make a positive impact on the world. Expressing a shared goal with his siblings, he emphasized the importance of creating content that brings joy while also benefiting people’s lives, acknowledging the responsibility their generation holds in addressing critical issues.
