Avicii’s Ex Girlfriend Emily Goldberg Dies Aged 34

Emily Goldberg, former girlfriend of music sensation Avicii, tragically passed away at the age of 34 on April 3 in California due to a pulmonary embolism, merely six years after Avicii’s own untimely demise in 2018.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Emily once shared, “Come on babe, don’t give up on us. Choose me, and I’ll show you love.” These words were from a song Tim had written for her. Reflecting on their relationship, she expressed, “For the two years we were together, he was my closest confidante, and my best friend.”

Her recent battle with cancer, from which she had emerged victorious just last year, added another layer of tragedy to her sudden passing. Emily’s family announced her passing and described her as a vivacious soul who cherished adventures and had a particular affection for animals, especially Pomeranian puppies.

Avicii’s death in 2018 deeply shocked the world, as he was found deceased in a luxury hotel in Muscat, Oman, having taken his own life at the age of 28. His struggles with substance abuse and mental health issues were well-documented, leading to his retirement from touring before his death. His family revealed the inner turmoil he faced, expressing that he felt unable to continue living and sought peace.

In the face of such tragedies, it’s essential to reach out for support if you’re struggling with distressing thoughts and feelings. Organisations like the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) provide invaluable assistance, with their helpline open daily from 5 pm to midnight. Whether through phone calls or webchat services, help is available for those in need.
