Chris Pratt Sickens Fans Again With Mother’s Day Post To Katherine Schwarzenegger

Chris Pratt stirred up controversy once again with his Mother’s Day post dedicated to his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger. In his tribute, the Marvel star celebrated Schwarzenegger’s role as a mother to their daughters Lyla and Eloise, as well as her stepmothering to his son Jack, without any mention of his ex-wife, Anna Faris, much like last year.

On social media, Pratt shared photos of the important women in his life, omitting his former spouse, with whom he was married from 2009 to 2018. While some fans defended his choice, others criticised the exclusion, leaving scathing comments on his post.

In his caption, Pratt poured out his admiration for Schwarzenegger’s dedication and love as a mother, acknowledging the complexities of motherhood and expressing gratitude for her role in their family.

This omission of Faris comes after Pratt’s divorce from her in October 2018. Since then, Faris has moved on and married cinematographer Michael Bennett in 2021, while Pratt tied the knot with Schwarzenegger in 2019. Pratt’s previous comments have also fueled speculation, including remarks made in 2021 that were interpreted by some as veiled criticism towards Faris.

Fans took to social media to express their disappointment, questioning why Faris was excluded from the tribute. However, defenders of Pratt argued that as both have moved on and remarried, a public acknowledgment of his ex-wife on Mother’s Day would be unusual.

Amidst the debate, some pointed out that the lack of mention may stem from the fact that Pratt and Faris may not be on amicable terms, making a public tribute awkward. Additionally, fans noted that Faris doesn’t publicly acknowledge Pratt on Father’s Day, suggesting a mutual understanding.

Ultimately, Pratt’s Mother’s Day post sparked a heated discussion among fans, highlighting the complexities of blended families and public tributes in the realm of celebrity.
