Harry And Meghan’s Rep Confirms Why King Charles Refuses To See Them

Prince Harry had an event in London last month, where he attended the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. While there, he did not visit his father, King Charles III.

A rep for Harry has since confirmed that that the king was unable to see him during the visit.

Sharing in a statement, “In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the U.K. this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program. The duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

The 39-year-old visited his father, in a brief 24 hour trip, February 2024 following his cancer diagnosis.

After Harry and Meghan decided to take a step back from royal duties in 2020, the relationship dynamic in the family has been strained.

The new strained relationship was evident after the royal family removed Harry and Meghan’s individual bios on the royal website at the start of the year. Their children, Archie and Lilibet, had their information removed entirely.
