Harry And Meghan’s Daughter Lilibet’s Birthday Brutally Ignored By Royal Family

Princess Lilibet, the younger child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, celebrated her third birthday on Tuesday, June 4, but the Royal Family opted not to publicly acknowledge the occasion, further underscoring the strained relationship with the Sussexes.

Lilibet, born in California, has had limited interactions with her father’s family in Britain, visiting them only once. Despite anticipation from royal watchers, there were no birthday wishes from the Royal Family, highlighting the ongoing tension following Harry and Meghan’s withdrawal from royal duties in 2020 and subsequent move to the United States.

The apparent snub comes amid rumors that King Charles was eager to foster a connection with Harry’s children. This silence from the monarchy mirrors a similar situation last month when Lilibet’s older brother, Prince Archie, turned five without receiving any public birthday message from the royal family.

Lilibet did visit the British Isles once to commemorate Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, where the Queen met her great-granddaughter and namesake for the first time.

Despite the lack of official acknowledgment from England, Lilibet enjoyed her special day surrounded by her brother, Prince Archie, and close friends. The celebration reportedly included several non-royal family members and friends of the Sussexes.

When Lilibet’s name was revealed, it sparked controversy as it was perceived as a tribute to the late Queen’s childhood nickname. Reports emerged that Queen Elizabeth was upset about not being consulted beforehand, prompting Harry and Meghan to seek legal recourse against claims that they hadn’t sought permission.

Author Robert Hardman revealed that Harry and Meghan had initially sought legal action to protect themselves from false claims regarding the name’s approval. However, an insider refuted these claims, stating that the couple had indeed received permission from the queen to use the name Lilibet.

In response to the ongoing scrutiny, Harry and Meghan expressed shock and frustration, labeling it as part of a broader negative campaign against them. They maintained that they had followed proper protocols and were taken aback by the unfounded allegations.
