Meghan McCain Slams ‘Deeply Unpleasant’ Jennifer Lopez After Appearance On ‘The View’

Meghan McCain is joining the Jennifer Lopez “hate train.”

In Friday’s episode of her and Miranda Wilkins’ podcast, “Citizen McCain,” the former “Outnumbered” co-host described the “I’m Real” singer as “deeply unpleasant” during her appearance on “The View.”

“I, too, share similar negative stories that the entire world does. I feel bad because we’re turning a point where there’s bullying happening to J.Lo,” McCain said, according to Entertainment Weekly. “She just is a deeply unpleasant person. She had the biggest entourage I’ve ever seen [when she was on ‘The View’]. More than Kim Kardashian and the president.”

McCain, 39, added that she didn’t “really understand why it was needed.”

The “Bad Republican” author then alleged that Lopez, 54, had something to do with her TikTok video getting “taken down.” In the clip, McCain said the “Selena” star was not her “favorite” guest on “The View.” “She had our video taken down,” she claimed, adding the word “allegedly” since she had no proof Lopez was behind the violation notice.

Though McCain noted that the video was later reinstated, Wilkins joked, “We’re beefing with her right now.”

A rep for McCain told Entertainment Weekly that they “do not know how or why we received a violation notice. We pressed ‘appeal’ and the video was reinstated in a few hours.”

It has since been reported that TikTok’s reporting process involves both automatic detection technology and a system that allows other users to report videos. Due to this procedure, there is no way for McCain or Wilkins to know who reported their video, as the process is anonymous.

McCain also recalled a time when Lopez allegedly had one of her employees holding “a mirror with lights while they were touching her up backstage” the whole time.

“I was a host at ‘The View,’ she was not nice. You don’t always have to be so nice, but it was surprising that people like Kim Kardashian couldn’t be more delightful,” the mom of two said. “When you’re coming on a show for a 10-minute segment … just fake it ’til you make it for 10 f–king minutes.”

While McCain may not have been a fan of Lopez, her podcast guest, Carlos King, said she was “so nice” when he met her earlier in her career.

“She was so nice, and she didn’t have a big entourage. Now look, I’m not a dummy. She has since become, like, this global superstar,” the producer, 44, said. “Megan knows I love Vegas. I went to see J.Lo in Vegas and — top five shows I’ve ever been to in my life. She performed and danced for 90 minutes straight — no break. She’s a hard worker, and I was shocked that people weren’t buying the tickets.”

Lopez has had an eventful year so far. The “Hustlers” actress recently canceled her upcoming tour to spend more time with her kids and is reportedly heading for divorce from husband Ben Affleck. Additionally, a source told The Post last month that the Bronx-born entertainer’s Las Vegas residency was in trouble after her album and tour flopped.

On the bright side, Lopez’s new Netflix film, “Atlas,” has reached No. 1 on the streaming platform.
