Rapper Enchanting’s Cause Of Death Aged 26 Confirmed

Enchanting, a well-known rapper and OF star, has tragically passed away at the age of 26.

Born Channing Nicole Larry, Enchanting had been signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records until earlier this year. A representative from her management team confirmed her death on Tuesday evening, telling The Shade Room, “She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried.”

The exact cause of death has not been confirmed, but reports suggest she was taken off life support following a suspected overdose.

Larry’s boyfriend, MotionGod Bandman, shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, posting a photo of them together with the caption, “You finally found that peace that you was looking for you. Y’all hurt me bad.”

Larry’s profile is still active on 1017 Records’ website, where her biography details her musical journey that began after graduating high school. Describing her unique style as “Trap-n-Blues,” she is quoted as saying, “Other people can relate to the things I say. I might help somebody through any situation, they can listen to me and find peace.”

Her music achieved significant attention, with her YouTube channel garnering four million views and her Spotify profile attracting around 660,000 monthly streams. In 2020, she was featured on the mixtape Gucci Mane Presents: So Icy Summer.

Beyond music, Larry was a content creator on OF, where she accumulated over 25,000 likes.

In a 2021 interview, Larry reflected on her upbringing as an “army brat” born in Germany, who later moved to Atlanta and eventually settled in Fort Worth, Texas, which she considered home.

Profiled by the Dallas Observer in 2023, Larry discussed her beginnings in the church choir and her time as a high school cheerleader. After graduation, she worked in hair and nails before fully committing to her hip-hop career.

“I feel like music was always something that was easy for me. I felt like I was musically inclined, always. It was something that I thought should probably put more time and effort into because it was natural, you know, instead of trying to force a talent,” she said in the interview.

At the time, Larry was collaborating with producer J White, known for his work with Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Gucci Mane. She also expressed excitement about the increasing presence of female artists in hip-hop, saying, “It’s looking hopeful for more and more women to just continue to blow up. I feel like it was a male-dominated sport, but now it’s becoming more feminine-dominated. I love that for the girls.”
