Ramsay, who often documents his cycling adventures, revealed graphic images of his injuries, showing severe bruising on his torso. The incident underscores the critical role that safety gear plays, as Ramsay’s helmet was shattered, yet it protected him from more severe head injuries. He urged his followers to always wear a helmet, regardless of the distance they plan to travel, stressing, “I don’t care how short the journey is. I don’t care… but they’re crucial.”

Accompanying his message, Ramsay shared before and after photos from the accident. In the first, he stood next to his bike, ready for a ride, and in the second, his helmet was in pieces, and his cycling shirt was torn with a large hole in the chest area. Despite the accident’s severity, Ramsay fortunately did not suffer any broken bones but was left looking “like a purple potato” due to the extensive bruising.
