Cheryl McGregor, a 63-year-old grandmother from Rome, Georgia, who married 26-year-old Quran McCain, has provided a heartfelt update as they prepare to welcome their first child via surrogacy. Already a mother of seven and grandmother of 17, Cheryl is unable to carry a baby due to her age, leading the couple to choose surrogacy.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2021, has become TikTok sensations, sharing their journey to parenthood with 4.7 million followers. They recently posted a sonogram, expressing their excitement about the new addition to their family. “We got pictures of our baby… It looks like a baby now and it is so adorable,” Cheryl shared. Quran added, “The best part is our baby is forming. It’s healthy… We find out the gender next week and it’s pretty amazing.”
In the video, Quran mentioned that they have reached the second trimester, a significant milestone. The couple’s social media post was flooded with messages of support and congratulations from their followers. One fan wrote, “CONGRATULATIONS! I know you’re gonna be a great mom and dad.”
Cheryl and Quran first met in 2012 while working at Dairy Queen, but romantic feelings developed years later when they reconnected in 2020. After dating, they got married in 2021, with Quran proposing during a live stream to 20,000 people. Their nearly four-decade age difference has garnered attention and viral fame on TikTok, where they also share content on OnlyFans.
Despite facing criticism for their unconventional relationship, Cheryl and Quran remain unfazed. Cheryl expressed confidence in Quran’s ability to be a great father, stating, “I have faith in him… He’s a responsible adult.” The couple is supported by their family, with five of Cheryl’s children accepting their decision to have children.
Quran addressed the online hate, stating, “People on social media have a lot of hate for us… We are no different from any other couple—love is love. We get a lot of hate, but it doesn’t phase us. At the end of the day, we still got each other, and that’s all that matters.”
