Selena Gomez has become a billionaire aged just 32 after her genius business idea.
The singer/actor who started her career on the Disney Channel’s show Wizards of Waverly Place is now worth an incredible $1.3 billion.
Not only is she the most followed woman on Instagram, she also has a number of business ventures on the go.
Gomez launched her make up line Rare Beauty in 2020 which focuses on mental health awareness and inclusivity.
Her stake in the business is estimated to be over a billion dollars. 80% of her entire wealth comes from the business.
Talking about the business on KIIS-FM in 2024, Gomez said: “I really tried my hardest to create a product that were beyond just me putting my name on something.
“I wanted the products to be great, and I also wanted the message to be that makeup is meant to be fun.”
While being interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter, she claimed that acting would be a priority:
“Acting has, and will always be, my heart,”
“There’s so much that I want to do and that I haven’t even scratched the surface of, and it’s exciting to me.”
The star, who appears on Only Murders In The Building alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short said:

“I think this is our most exciting season yet.
“That’s what I would definitely say with confidence, because it was far too fun. How it came together was so magical.
“Everyone had a blast. And people are in for a ride, you know. Taking us to L.A. and then doing all the other stuff is exciting.
“It’s going to be, to date, probably my favourite season.”
