Teddi Mellencamp has shared the devastating news on social media.

The 43-year-old who is a mother to three young children – Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, five – shared with fans the results of her CT scan.

Mellencamp has been battling cancer since 2022 after brain tumors were found on February following symptoms such as horrendous headaches.

In a post on Instagram, she revealed that doctors found two tumors on her lungs and three on her brain. She shared that her immunotherapy and radiation treatment was scheduled asap.

‘Update from scans today: I have multiple tumors in my brain that weren’t able to be removed via surgery,’ she said. ‘I also have 2 tumors in my lung.’

She said that ‘doctors are hopeful that immunotherapy and radiation will effectively treat them.’

The daughter of iconic singer John Cougar Mellencamp is currently in the midst of a divorce from her husband, Edwin Arroyave.

Despite the scary news, she shared that she is feeling good:

‘I am feeling positive that I will win this battle, that I got this wig (I like the short hair, just not the bald spots), and that I can remember all of Angelina’s kids’ names.’

Our thoughts are with her and her family at this time.
