Hugh Jackman had a furious reaction to his ex Deborra-Lee Furness breaking their ‘secret agreement’.
The Hollywood couple announced they were getting divorced in 2023, after 27 years of marriage.
It was then rumored that the ‘X-Men’ star was in a new relationship with Broadway actress, Sutton Foster, 50.

Now, a source has shared that Jackman was allegedly ‘extremely disappointed’ after being blindsided by his ex-wife’s words. He claimed that they had an ‘understanding’ behind closed doors to not trash talk each other.
“There was an unwritten understanding that she would not trash him to the press,” the source revealed.
News that Jackman and Foster have taken their relationship to the next level by living together in his New York City penthouse have allegedly “shattered” Furness.
An insider shared that “They’re inseparable,” and that “[Sutton is] slowly migrating her things over to Hugh’s place.”
Adding that she is “shattered knowing Sutton is making the penthouse her own — the place she poured her soul into.”
“She wants him to be happy — he deserves it and so do the kids, but Hugh’s completely green when it comes to dating. She’s concerned he’s leaping into living with someone else way too soon,” the insider shared.
Another friend of the 69-year-old has shared: “It’s almost unreal [for Deborra] seeing Sutton reap the rewards of all those years of her supporting Hugh.”
She previously claimed she was ‘the last to know’ about the romance between Foster and her ex-husband, 56.
As reported by Radaronline, she was particularly upset with Jackman’s close friends, Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively, who ‘kept quiet’ about the relationship.
A source shared: ‘They kept their lips sealed out of loyalty to Hugh,’.
‘Now she is seething with rage over being the last to know, Deb feels blindsided. She has a memory like a steel trap and isn’t afraid to use it!’
‘Debs feels cheated by all three because someone could have told her what was happening and they all chose to keep their mouths shut,’.
Hugh met his new girlfriend while playing Harold Hill on The Music Man, which ran February 2022 to January 2023 in Manhattan. The actress played Marian Paroo.
The couple has since publicly attended events together including the opening night of the Broadway show in February 2022.
Furness filed for divorce just last week after the couple came to an agreement behind closed doors.
A source shared with the Daily Mail that: “There was some back and forth regarding this financial agreement but, in the end, [Deborra] got what she believed she deserved. Both are coming out of this financially secure,”.
“They have worked out the details in advance and everything is ironed out in terms of a settlement, alimony and the expenses for the future of their children.”
