There’s something special about the aesthetic of Harry Potter. It’s so much more than an old-fashioned public school vibe, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

The colours of all of the Hogwarts houses are all gorgeous and just make you want to curl up in front of a fire and the candlelit corridors of mahogany and leather only enhances that.

I’d love to spend a day or two there, is what I’m trying to say.

Sadly, I don’t have the money to go to Harry Potter world in Universal Florida and I don’t fancy driving to Watford for the studios.

I guess my only option left now is to go to Corpus Christi, Texas, to visit the Harry Potter-themed coffee shop there.

Owned by single mother of two, Susan Almaguer, The Coffee MUGGle was opened with the help of the local community, and it looks amazing.

The shop features Potter decorations that were donated to Susan by local lovers of the wizarding world and it’s taken shape beautifully.

Almaguer said:

I’ve always loved coffee and Harry Potter and I figured what better two combinations than the ones I love.

I’m proud of how the community has embraced me and my shop. When I see those donations, it makes me feel like I’ve accomplished.

I wanted to be able to connect with the community the only way I knew how… nerd fandom and coffee.

Well she did just that. The shop genuinely looks like it could be owned by Warner Bros. It’s pretty damn convincing.

And hey, the food look delicious too…
