Kendall Jenner has delivered a brutally honest verdict on dating men while finally addressing one of the longest-running rumours about her friendship with Cara Delevingne.

During the October 15 episode of The Kardashians, the 30-year-old model joked that being attracted to women might make her love life considerably easier, before delivering a rather unflattering assessment of men.

"Men suck!" she declared, laughing as she discussed the possibility of dating women instead.

But behind the cheeky remark was a more personal conversation about her sexuality, her relationship with Delevingne and the speculation that has surrounded their friendship for more than a decade.

Kendall Jenner finally addresses the Cara Delevingne dating rumours

The conversation took place backstage at a L'Oréal Paris fashion show in September 2025, although viewers only saw it when the episode aired more than a year later.

Jenner brought up the persistent belief that she and Delevingne, 34, had once been romantically involved, explaining that their affection for one another had apparently convinced some people they were more than friends.

She firmly denied the speculation, making it clear that she does not identify as a lesbian. Delevingne backed her up, confirming that the rumours about their supposed relationship were untrue.

However, Jenner was considerably more playful when the conversation turned to hypothetical relationships with women.

She admitted that she had never experienced sexual desire towards women but was not necessarily ruling out exploring something different in the future.

And when Delevingne asked which woman she would choose if she ever changed her mind, Jenner picked her longtime friend without hesitation, joking that Cara was someone she could trust to treat her kindly.

As People reported, the exchange also offered insight into why their friendship has remained so close. Jenner credited Delevingne with helping her feel safe and welcome during her early years in the modelling industry, describing their bond as more like that of sisters.

Why Kendall Jenner's comments aren't quite as new as they seem

There is an important detail about the timing of the conversation: although the episode aired in October 2026, the footage was recorded in September 2025.

That means the discussion actually happened before Jenner publicly addressed similar speculation during her January 2026 appearance on Owen Thiele's In Your Dreams podcast.

During that interview, Jenner explained that what bothered her most was not the suggestion that she might be gay, but the hostility with which some people discussed her sexuality.

She rejected the suggestion that she was hiding her sexual orientation to protect her family's business interests, saying she believed she would be comfortable being open about it if she were gay.

Her latest televised comments therefore reinforce a position she has already expressed publicly, rather than signalling a new revelation about her sexuality.

There is another change in circumstances worth considering. When the Paris Fashion Week conversation was filmed, Jenner had not yet been publicly linked to Australian actor Jacob Elordi.

The pair subsequently sparked romance rumours in 2026 and have since been photographed together on several occasions, including during Paris Fashion Week in September.

According to InStyle, Elordi also supported Jenner from the audience when she appeared at the Bottega Veneta show in Milan.

So while Jenner's declaration about men makes for an entertaining television moment, the wider conversation was primarily about setting the record straight on a friendship that has repeatedly been mistaken for a romance.
