Mia Khalifa has entered the controversy surrounding H3 Podcast hosts Ethan and Hila Klein with a sharply worded social media post that appears to reference Hila's past service in the Israeli military.
On October 26, Khalifa wrote on X: "get that IDF cuck wife off my timeline".
The message did not mention Hila or Ethan by name. However, its timing and reference to the Israel Defense Forces prompted speculation that Khalifa was targeting Hila, who served in the IDF before meeting her future husband in Israel in 2007.
That distinction matters. Although the post has been widely interpreted as a personal insult directed at Hila, Khalifa did not explicitly identify her intended target. There is also no confirmed public response from Hila to the remark.
Why Hila Klein is at the centre of the controversy
Khalifa's message appeared days after Hila publicly accused Ethan of having an affair lasting more than six months, bringing a deeply personal crisis into the spotlight for the couple's substantial online audience.
In a lengthy Instagram statement shared late on October 22, Hila alleged that Ethan repeatedly dismissed her concerns before eventually admitting to an affair. She said she was navigating separation and co-parenting while prioritising their three children.
The allegations also triggered a professional crisis for the H3 Podcast. Its production team issued a separate statement expressing support for Hila and announcing that its members would no longer work with Ethan involved in, or financially benefiting from, the programme.
Ethan subsequently addressed the situation through Instagram Stories, asking the public to respect his family's privacy. According to TMZ's October 23 report, he also said he was taking steps to remove his financial interests from the podcast. He did not directly address the affair allegations in his initial public statement.
The H3 Podcast remains on indefinite hiatus, with no confirmed return date or replacement format.
The significance of Khalifa's IDF reference
Rather than mentioning the alleged infidelity directly, Khalifa's post combined an insult associated with being cheated on with an explicit reference to the Israeli military.
Hila's military background is a documented part of her biography. She was serving in the IDF when she met Ethan during his visit to Israel in 2007, years before the couple established their YouTube career and married in 2012.
Khalifa has also publicly criticised Israel and its military in the past. That history offers relevant context for her choice of language, although it does not independently establish whom she intended to address or why she published the message.
For now, the verified facts are narrower than some of the surrounding commentary suggests: Khalifa published the insulting remark, Hila's former military service provides a plausible connection, and the post followed a widely reported marital controversy. What remains unconfirmed is whether Khalifa intended the message specifically for Hila or whether either of the Kleins has responded to it.
