We’ve all worked under bosses who we wish were a little more understanding of the need to take our lunch breaks in full, understanding that staying late every day shouldn’t be the norm, and generally should just chill out a bit.

However, Erika Lust has taken being a liberal manager to another degree, encouraging her employees to take daily breaks for masturbation.

The CEO of adult entertainment production company, Erika Lust Films, found her staff had become ‘agitated’ in lockdown, and decided that self-pleasure was the answer.

Erika is allowing her 36 members of staff to take half hour breaks every day, should they want it.

And yes, there’s a designated masturbation station too, in case you were wondering.

The filmmaker is hoping the new initiative will help staff feel reenergised whilst carrying out daily tasks, kicking it off during May’s Masturbation Month.

However, the break is set to continue as a permanent perk of working for the US-based company.

Speaking of the very liberal new move, Erika explained: “I value my employees and I know that when they feel good, we do good work.”

“With the pandemic and the huge shift in how we live our lives, I began to notice that my employees had become somewhat agitated and were performing with less energy than before.”

She continued: “So, knowing that there’s only one thing that will make everyone feel good, I’ve set up a private masturbation station for them to enjoy.”

Unsurprisingly, the new rules have gone down an absolute treat.

Staff are claiming that the introduction of the masturbation station is helping relieve stress.

Head of Communications and Content, Cat, said: “Picture this: a team of happy employees with their creative juices flowing and being productive because they’ve had some time scheduled to make themselves feel good.

“A masturbation break at work can result in more focus from your employees, less aggression, more productivity and better team work.”

While, colleague Avril, a clinical sexologist and project manager of new porn series The Porn Conversation, agreed.

She added: “Masturbation has been shown to not only make you happier, more relaxed and more focused, but it’s also good for creativity and increases your drive to get things done.

“Plus, it releases endorphins, helps to decompress and relieves tension and stress.

“Basically, it’s the perfect medicine for a stressful day at work.”

As well as offering the breaks, Erika will also be sharing how the team gets on with the masturbation station on her website.

She is hoping other bosses, both in and out of the adult entertainment industry will follow her bold move.

Do you think your boss would approve this initiative?
