Nine-Nine! The first trailer for the eighth and final season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine has just dropped – and we’re a little bit emotional.
For the uninitiated, the cop comedy follows Andy Samberg as Detective Jake Peralta, an NYPD detective in Brooklyn’s fictional 99th Precinct.
The series also stars Andre Braugher as Captain Raymond Holt, Stephanie Beatriz as Rosa Diaz, Terry Crews as Terry Jeffords, Melissa Fumero as Amy Santiago, Joe Lo Truglio as Charles Boyle, Chelsea Peretti as Gina Linetti, Dirk Blocker as Michael Hitchcock, and Joel McKinnon Miller as Norm Scully.
The new trailer teases plenty of drama including Holt accidentally sending a d**k pic, multiple Hitchcock and Scullys, Rosa getting high on edibles and Jake and Amy struggling as new parents.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Melissa Fumero previously told Comicbook that the final season will definitely satisfy fans.

She said: “It’s bittersweet, but I’m really proud of the show. I’m really proud of this season.
“I think it’s going to be a really satisfying end I hope for the viewers and just trying to think of it as like the victory lap, celebrating the show, celebrating the people I work with.
“Not trying to take anything for granted and stay really present.”
Michael Schur and Dan Goor, who previously collaborated on the sitcom Parks and Recreation, came up with the idea for a comedy set in a police station.
The ending was confirmed by the show’s co-creator Goor earlier this year.
On Twitter, he wrote: “I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with this amazing cast and crew for eight seasons.
“They are not only among the most talented people in the business, but they are also all good human beings who have become a family.
“But most of all, I feel lucky that we have had the best fans in the world. Fans who literally saved us from cancellation. Fans who fill us with joy.
“Ending the show was a difficult decision, but ultimately, we felt it was the best way to honour the characters, the story and our viewers.
“I know some people will be disappointed it’s ending so soon, but honestly, I’m grateful it lasted this long. Title of my sex tape.”
Last year, Terry Crews confirmed that every episode from the upcoming series was rewritten in light of the Black Lives Matter movement, in the wake of the murder of George Floyd.

Crews explained: “We’ve had a lot of sombre talks about it and deep conversations,
“And we hope through this, we’re going to make something that will be truly ground-breaking this year.”
Speaking of the new season, Andy Samberg told Variety the show is going to “further the conversation” around police brutality, adding that “our characters need to examine their roles in the world”.
He continued: “They’re going to be forced to look in the mirror and see who they’re complicit with,’ while ‘not punishing viewers who like our show and care about our characters”.
The final season will consist of 10 episodes – which is far less than previous seasons.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine premiered in 2013 on Fox before being cancelled in 2018 after five seasons.
But a passionate campaign by fans lead to NBC picking it up less than 48 hours after the cancellation.
