Mums are good, aren’t they?

Don’t get me wrong, the world has obviously got its share of bad mothers but for the most part, they’re all extremely hard-working, under-appreciated, lovely people who deserve the utmost respect and love.

With all of that said, they do seem to share some particularly annoying traits that probably have something to do with the exhaustion of raising young children, and then trying to get back at them once they’re old enough to think for yourself.

All of that in mind, comedian Trey Kennedy made a short video showcasing all of the little quirks exhibited by the mothers in that world.

It’s pretty spot on…

It’s hard not to agree with almost all of this.

I don’t think my mum has every called me young man, but other than that, Kennedy’s more or less on the money.

For some reason I felt a bit bad when I was watching the video; especially when he was playing the inquisitive mother and the mum taking a photograph.

They’ve spent the entirety of your life raising you and – I’ve been guilty of this – when they show interest in what you’ve been up to, you get angry at their line of questioning. They just care about what you’ve been up to.

AND THEN WE HAVE THE NERVE TO GET ANNOYED AT THEM WHEN THEY WANT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF US BECAUSE WE LOOK NICE!

There’s no winning for mums.
