The final ever series of ‘Game of Thrones’ may not be appearing until 2019 (April, we reckon) but fans have already been speculating about what will happen to the show’s most beloved characters.

Peter Dinklage and Maisie Williams (Tyrion Lannister and Arya Stark) have teased at emotional and bittersweet endings for several characters, which I think we all know means certain death.

Yep, a Game Of Thrones-less existence sounds pretty miserable for fans, but it ain’t all bad because HBO are preparing for life after Jon Snow and co with a currently untitled spin-off series.

We know the project will be set thousands of years before the events of Westeros during the Age of Heroes; here’s the official prequel synopsis in case you’d forgotten:

Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. And only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East, to the Starks of legend … it’s not the story we think we know.

With George R.R. Martin also recently confirming its title – The Long Night – as well as the news that Naomi Watts will be starring, TV bosses are now after people to appear as new characters.

Here’s who they’re after.

Word is that the pilot for the GoT prequel series is set to get underway in February, which coincides with when the casting call says production starts.

So if you know of any budding actors matching this criteria, let them know.

There’s also news of the latest casting calls, posted on casting site Spotlight on October 24th, which are open until November 17th.

These are the people they’re after – so here’s your opportunity to be in a HBO series!

1. (Male, 50 – 63 years old) This role is a series regular, playing age 50s. The role is meant for a Black actor.

2. (Male, 37 – 45 years old) Playing age late 30s-mid 40s. This role doesn’t appear to be a series regular, and is meant for a Caucasian actor.

3. (Male, 30 – 38 years old) This role is a series regular, playing age 30s. The role is meant for a genuine Scandinavian, Germanic, or Eastern European actor.

4. (Male, 49 – 58 years old) This role is a series regular, playing age 50s. The role is meant for a genuine Scandinavian, Germanic, or Eastern European actor.

5. (Female, 31 – 34 years old) This role is a series regular, playing age early 30s. The role is meant for a Caucasian actress.

6. (Female, 28 – 31 years old) This role is a series regular, playing age late 20s. The role is meant for a Caucasian actress.

It’s certainly a diverse cast which could indicate we’ll be seeing a lot of the people of Essos, across the Narrow Sea.

Also, the “Scandinavian, Germanic, or Eastern European” – could that be the wildings?

Who knows, but if you’ve always fancied appearing in the show this might finally be your chance.
