Jack Black is one of the good guys.

The actor, comedian, musician and all round bloody great human has dipped his fingers in just about every pie there is, from tickling movie fans in roles in School of Rock and Shallow Hal to delighting comedy rock enthusiasts as one half of Tenacious D.

But so far, there has been one craft that has eluded JB: the art of video game vlogging.

That is, until now.

This week, the Hollywood star announced he’d be joining the world of YouTubers after launching his new channel Jablinski Gameswhich will be centred around ‘games, food, and life’.

In his first video, the 49-year-old comic explains how he wants to be bigger than Ninja and PewDiePie, before reclining exaggeratedly in his chair – like PewDiePie – and flicking to a black screen which says fans can expect a new video every Friday.

In a caption below the video, he writes: “I just want to clarify that there is no production behind this. This is all my son. He’s holding me hostage and I can’t be traced. Help…”

Check out the hilarious video below:

I TOLD you he was one of the good guys.

Most people seemed to be into the channel, with one person commenting:

“I give him a pass.

“Unlike other celebrities it already feels like he’s in the weird zone between mainstream and indie stuff.”

However, Jack also had heads turning for another reason, as The Royle Family fans noticed a bit of a resemblance between him and Rick Tomlinson’s foul-mouthed Jim character.

In fact, his channel as gone down so well that he’s now uploaded another video celebrating the fact he’s hit a ‘billion’ subscribers:

He soon realises his mistake and confirms they’ll be more Jablinski games footage in the New Year.
