Will they, won’t they?

It’s the question on every ‘I’m A Celeb’ fans’ lips.

It’s genuinely like a soap opera, almost like the Ross and Rachel saga all over again.

But I guess we’re all up in the air/a little bit bored with Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer’s relationship so we need to turn our attention to another couple.

Anyway, as I’m sure you’re all aware, Emily Atack kind of has the hots for Jamie Redknapp – and who could blame her, he’s a fine specimen of a man.

The former Inbetweeners actress has made a number of tongue-in-cheek requests for Jamie to call her in recent weeks, the latest of which being in an interview with Lorraine Kelly.

But now the former footballer has responded, and the romance might be over before it ever got started.

Speaking on Alan Brazil’s Breakfast show on talkSPORT, Jamie was asked: what’s more likely – Liverpool winning the Champions League or Jamie taking Emily out.

Jamie responded:

“What’s more likely did you say? Ah Deano come on. Leave it out. Listen, she’s great…she’s a very nice girl isn’t she. Let’s leave it at that.”

Uh oh, that sounds pretty damning, almost like an on-air friendzone.

This comes after Jamie called in to congratulate his dad Harry being crowned King of the Jungle in Harry’s post-win interview on Extra Camp.

As the Redknapps chatted away, Emily and John Barrowman shouted ‘Hi Jamie!’ down the line, prompting Harry to tell Jamie:

“Keep away from Emily, Jamie. She’d be too much for you.”

Jamie then replied:I know, I reckon she is.”

Emily and John giggled profusely and Jamie added: Do you know what Tinder is, Dad? Emily, you need to tell him what Tinder is.”

Harry joked back: “That’s what we started the fire with!”

Never-mind, though, Emily (not that we really think you were that bothered about dating him in the first place) – there’s plenty more fish in the sea.
