Avengers: Endgame has got 6.1/10 on IMDb? Does anyone know how that’s possible?

Due to be released in late April, Avengers: Endgame may be one of the most highly anticipated films of all time and even though the advent of its release will likely bring with it the death of some of our favourite characters, I absolutely can’t wait to watch it.

The thing is, with every Marvel film coming up, I always half-ruin them for myself by watching every trailer and every clip meticulously, looking into a whole array of fan theories and such to the point where the actual film isn’t too much of a surprise for me.

I told myself that I’m not going to do that for Endgame, but here we are with a new TV spot trailer, released for the Superbowl, and I’ve watched it around 20 times.

Have a watch of it and see what you think…

It looks like Thanos’ promise of blue skies and full bellies never came into fruition as the world looks decidedly grey and starved.

As you might have expected, planet earth is in mourning for half of the population snapped away by the mad Titan and the remaining Avengers and Guardians aren’t going to take that lying down.

I’ll try to sum it up…

Steve Rogers looks to be taking part in some kind of group therapy, Tony Stark and Nebula are fixing up a ship, Rocket is – apparently – in Scotland, Natasha’s back to training, Scott Lang’s back as he suits up with Rhodey, Thor’s… somewhere (???) with his fancy new axe, Clint’s there and now Cap’s strapping his old shield to his arm.

We end the trailer with the remaining several walking through the Avengers base.

I’m very excited but I have one question…

What happened to this?

I didn’t particularly like it, it just seems odd to include something arguably handy in one film and then never mention it again.

Oh well. That’s a problem for another time.
